Thank you for your interest in joining the Code Club community!

The coronavirus pandemic continues to impact all our lives. Our Ways to run your Code Club page provides creative ways for clubs to run during this time. If you would still like to register a club, please return to our start a club page.

About Code Club

Code Club is an international network of free, volunteer-led after school coding clubs for children aged 9-13.

At Code Club, we think all children should have the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from.

We support an international network of volunteers and educators who run free, extra-curricular coding clubs for children aged 9-13. Clubs are run in a range of venues, from schools to community centres, and provide a space for children to learn about digital skills and coding in a safe, fun environment.

We provide easy to follow coding projects which help children learn Scratch, HTML & CSS and Python by making games, animations and websites. The projects gradually introduce coding concepts to allow children to grow their understanding of digital making. This gradual approach also means there's no need for the adult running the session to be a computing expert.

Currently there are 10,000 clubs in over 160 countries, and our club projects have been translated into more than 25 languages. We also have official Code Club communities running Code Club in 11 countries around the world.
